On Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 4:10 AM, the Stillwater Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at the Kum & Go at 1890 N. Perkins Rd. The suspects were armed with handguns and took cash and products from the store.
Witnesses described the suspects as two Hispanic males – one with long hair and a thin body, and the other short in height and heavier build. Both suspects had their faces concealed by bandanas and were wearing hoodies. Both suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
At 12:38 PM, the Stillwater Multi-Jurisdictional Special Operations team served a high-risk search warrant in the 1800 block of N. Hartford and advised the public to avoid the area. As of 12:47 PM, this roadway was open and secure.
At 12:52 PM, SPD released they have two male suspects, aged 15 and 16, in custody in connection to the armed robbery.
