The previously instated burn ban was set until April 18th. The Payne County Board of Commissioners allowed this to expire but asked citizens to continue using caution. The recent rain helped some, but the drought will likely continue into the summer. Although we are not in an official burn ban anymore, please continue to take all safety precautions to prevent any grass or structure fires.
