On Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 7:38 a.m., Stillwater Police Department (SPD) responded to the area of 500 E. Virginia in reference to a found body. SPD officers were able to determine the victim was deceased and requested SPD’s Criminal Investigation Unit due to the circumstances.
The State Medical Examiner’s Office also responded to assist. Travis Chapman, 32, of Stillwater was identified as the victim. The cause of death will be determined by the ME’s Office.
