STILLWATER AGRICULTURAL EDUCATOR SELECTED FOR NATIONAL AWARD

Bailey Kliewer, agricultural educator at Stillwater Public Schools in Oklahoma, is one of six agricultural educators nationwide who received the 2022 National Association of Agricultural Educators Outstanding Early Career Teacher award, presented during the 2022 NAAE Convention, November 29 through December 3, in Las Vegas.

The NAAE Outstanding Early Career Teacher Award is presented to an NAAE member in their third to eighth year of teaching who have exemplified great teaching methods in the classroom and have been dedicated to their career through personal and professional growth. The NAAE Outstanding Early Career Teacher Award program is sponsored by John Deere.

Kliewer is in her seventh year of teaching at Stillwater Public Schools. In her years of teaching, Bailey has made it her mission to pour 100% of her passion and effort into her program. She is dedicated to making every effort to develop an atmosphere of hard work, genuine effort, and student growth in her classroom. As one of three teachers at Stillwater, Kliewer teaches courses related to horticulture, animal science, leadership, and communication at their school farm, located seven miles from the main campus. Kliewer is proud to have the unique opportunity to provide her students with a hands-on and practical learning environment.

NAAE is the professional organization for agricultural educators with over 8,000 members nationwide. The organization advocates for agricultural education, provides advancement through professional development for agricultural educators, and works to recruit and retain agricultural educators in the profession.
