(STILLWATER, OK) – On Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, Stillwater Fire Department Chief Essary and Assistant Chief Halcomb presented some officers with awards for their actions on two separate calls.
On December 13, 2022, Stillwater Police Department responded to the area of 600 W. 11th in reference to a structure fire where the occupant was trapped inside the house. The swift actions of our patrol officers to make entry and rescue the victim were lifesaving. Thanks to Lt. Millermon, Sgt. Gripe, Officer Rudluff, Officer Noles, Officer Gee, and Officer Meridith for taking quick action. (Not pictured Officer Noles)
On December 21, 2022, Stillwater Police Department responded to 6th and Main in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Assistant Chief Jordan and Officer Droescher arrived on the scene to discover one of the drivers involved was deceased. Officers quickly removed the driver and began lifesaving measures and were able to resuscitate the victim.
